Set behind the gates of Joá — the cliffside enclave the Brazilian press calls the Beverly Hills of Rio — this is a house built to command a view. Three levels descend the cliff in cinematic steps, each joined by private elevator, each facing the open Atlantic. The architecture is unhurried — a study in glass, stone, and the kind of address money buys in very few places on earth.

Step through the entry and the first gesture is the view. A living room opens to dining, dining opens to a gourmet kitchen built for a private chef, and every surface beyond the glass is ocean.
